Today I’m going to talk to you about Money Cometh Wisdom from 1 Kings 3:3
It says: “And Solomon loved the Lord, walking in the statutes of David his father: only he sacrificed and burnt incense in high places. And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high place: a thousand burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar.
In Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, Ask what I shall give thee.”
Now notice it said two things about Solomon:
- he loved God
- he was a big sower
And then here’s what Solomon said, in 1 Kings 3:9, here’s what his request was: “Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people,” there he goes, he put God first, “that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people? And the speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing. And God said unto him, because thou hast asked this thing (about my business and about my people), and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment; Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee. And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days.”
What is my point here?
What is the point about Money Cometh Wisdom? Money Cometh is a revelation that came with sowing. You see? Money don’t come just because you said “Money Cometh,” but here Solomon has sowed one thousand burnt offerings and showed his love towards God, God saw where He could trust him, that whatever he gave him, he was going to take care of his business, and that’s where we have to prove to God that we don’t just want money for ourselves, but we want to be in His will. Once He finds out that we want to be in His will that He could use us, then the money will always start coming.
The wisdom of Money Cometh is knowing how to operate in the Wisdom of God, knowing how to operate in sowing seeds that God gives you, and trusting God to manifest. It will not happen overnight, but it will happen if you trust God.
Here, Solomon, before us, became the richest man in the world because he asked for an understanding heart, he asked for discernment, he asked for understanding, and we all need those things that God can use us in a mighty way.
I see you never being broke another day in your life.
I see the money (because of the wisdom you developing, and these types of meditations we’re going through) and I see you growing to a point where you understand how God functions in finances, how God functions in wealth.
And I’ll say this to you: See you at the top!
