For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. – Romans 8:14
The Holy Spirit must lead you into prosperity. Why? Because prosperity can be dangerous to those who are not ready for it. If you have children or have ever had any experience with children, you know that there are certain things you won’t give a child because you don’t want them to hurt themselves. Well, God treats us the same way with prosperity.
You see, money will change you. Money will make you act ugly towards people. That’s why scripture instructs us not to be high-minded or trust in uncertain riches, but trust in the living God who gives us all things richly to enjoy (1 Tim. 6:17).
I can testify right now that I have been led into prosperity by the Holy Spirit. I, very rarely, have wants or needs. But, I also wasn’t always in this position. As a matter of fact, I couldn’t even tell you exactly how or when it happened. All I know is that while I was handling God’s business, He was taking care of mine. I’m still preaching the gospel and going where God sends me to spread the good news of “Money Cometh to the Body of Christ.”
Having reached my financial status, how many people would just retire and travel the world or something similar? I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with that. What I am saying is: no matter how wealthy you get, God must still always be first.
Let the Holy Spirit lead you into prosperity. He knows what you are and are not ready for. Enjoy the journey and continue to do what you know to do because you will get there!
