Matthew 6:24 – No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
You cannot serve God and mammon. Mammon is the demon behind material wealth or greed; it refers to money. Most people won’t admit that mammon is their master. But, if you have to consult your bank account before making a move, then it is. If your money is telling you how much to buy, what to do, and where to go, then money is your master.
Money can’t be your master if Jesus is supposed to be your master. In other words, you can’t let money tell you what to do and God tell you what to do at the same time. You have to choose whose voice to listen to.
When you make up in your mind that you are going to be God’s servant, money will not have any more authority over you. God’s instruction will tell you what to do so you won’t have to listen to what your money is telling you to do!

I can honestly say”I did not have a real knowledge of what this verse was actually saying UNTIL NOW!” God is always speaking if we would be still and listen. I am greatful for the revelation of the word of God. Thank you Apostle Thompson.
Amen Apostle! I have made up in my mind that I am going to be God’s servant, money will not have any more authority over me. God’s instruction will tell me what to do so I won’t have to listen to what my money is telling me to do in Jesus name! I receive by faith in Jesus name! Blessings!
