I found out that this happens very easily when it comes to money. Sometimes we make spiritual things too complicated.
God’s system of seedtime and harvest is very simple. But, it is also based on God’s direction. Don’t try to over complicate things by doing something to make God do something. (Remember, God has already done everything He is going to do for you. Your seed is an act of obedience for you, it does not make God move.)
Sometimes we send money God didn’t tell us to send or sow money God didn’t tell us to sow. I want you to learn how to stop allowing seducing spirits from robbing you by learning how to use the anointing properly.
Now, I had to get a revelation on the verse I’m about to give you. It seems like it says you don’t need a teacher. But the verse is talking about how you don’t need a seducing teacher. It tells you that the anointing will make you know the difference. 1 John 2:27 says,
But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
If you read the chapter, he is talking about how there are men with seducing spirits. They might have the same verse, using the same points, but all of a sudden, the Holy Ghost goes to scratching. You don’t need that type of man to teach you.
You have the anointing in you to discern, to stop, and to overcome – especially when it comes time to sow. Look again at what this scripture is saying. This verse is showing you how to protect yourself. I’m specifically talking about sowing, but really, this covers every aspect of your life. You must learn to listen and heed to the Holy Spirit. It will save you a lot of trouble because God is not obligated to multiply seeds He didn’t tell you to sow.
