And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.  And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. – Matthew 16:18-19

To walk in financial rest, you have to not only walk in revelation, but you have to have the right kind of foundation. Jesus will only build on a rock, or the solid foundation of someone who has a  revelation of who He really is. And not only a revelation of who He is but the revelation that Jesus comes first.

Jesus desires to release some things to you but He must know that your foundation is solid where no matter what you have or where you go– He will always be first. The same way you worshiped and served him with little must be the same way you worship and serve Him when you have more than enough.

It is dangerous to have plenty of money – without revelation. If you have not walked with God long enough and don’t have enough revelation – you don’t want plenty of money. Money will overtake you if you don’t have something greater.

What do you think the keys to the kingdom of heaven entails? You can’t even imagine how much it is. But, that is what Jesus desires to give you. But, your foundation must be solid as a rock. So, don’t get in a hurry, enjoy the process of Jesus bringing you closer and closer to Him. Let Him help you pass all the tests along the way. You’ll appreciate it as you increase to higher and higher levels of life.
