Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. 2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. 3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever. 4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. 5 A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion. – Psalm 112:1-5
I want you to establish in your mind the fact that righteousness and riches are married. They live together. In other words, because you’ve become the righteousness of God in Christ, certain things should go along with your new life. And one of those things is financial blessing and wealth.
Having wealth and riches in your house is not the same as “getting by” or “doing alright.” Having a good job is not the extent of what God has for you. Yet christians have settled for just having a job, thinking that was the sum total of God’s financial blessing in their lives.
Never settle for just receiving part of the package when it comes to your salvation because your salvation takes care of everything you need in your life — including your finances. Provision in every area of your life belongs to you!
