I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. 21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. – Galatians 2:20-21

We have been frustrating the grace of God by trying to operate by faith and paying no attention to His grace. But, not only did we frustrate the grace of God, we have been frustrated ourselves. Some people have been sowing for many years and have not seen the manifestation that they should have.

The secret is knowing how to balance faith and grace. You can’t just sow, in faith, alone. Remember, grace and faith, must work together. (You are saved by grace, through faith, see Ephesians 2:8). The whole problem is eliminated when you understand that your faith only appropriates what God has already provided.

Don’t sow your seed because you are trying to get God to move. Sow your seed because you know God has already moved and your seed is an act of your faith in God’s principle of seed-time and harvest.

There are thousands of faith people who have become frustrated. They did everything they knew and were taught to do. They pushed every button and rang every bell, but feel as if God didn’t come through. They feel like the Lord failed them because He didn’t respond the way they thought He would.

Always remember, you aren’t trying to get God to do anything. It’s not about God giving, it’s about you learning how to receive. Once you understand that, it makes the christian life simple! Just keep giving as the Lord instructs you to and thanking Him for what He has already done.
