3- Fold Spiritual Secret of All Success, Part 2: Renewing Your Mind

Romans 12: 1-2

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

As your tongue has to be converted under the control of the Holy Ghost, so does your mind. As I mentioned before, your tongue, mind and heart have to be on the same mission, in order to have successful prayers, win successful victories, and see overall good success in life.

When I talk about the mind, I’m talking about your thinking. If Satan can’t get your mind, he can’t get your soul. I know that as soon as you wake up in the morning, your mind wants to be in charge. And it’s normally looking for something negative. Sometimes, you have to say “Shut up! You’re going to think what I want you to think!”

Your speaking, believing, and thinking have to be working together. It’s more than just reading the Word. Romans 12: 1 says present your bodies as a living sacrifice. Your mind is a part of your body! That also includes your heart and tongue. It all has to be presented as a living sacrifice. It goes on to say, be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. Renewing your mind with the Word of God daily, along with keeping your speaking and believing in agreement, is bringing it under subjection; this will transform you. Realize, that your mind is only double-minded because of what’s coming out of your mouth and what’s being written on your heart!

The character of your life will never be the same. Learn how to think; learn how to talk; learn how to believe. Then, you can never be stopped or deceived. Once they’re all on the same mission, Philippians 4:8 tells us what kind of thoughts will be produced:  whatsoever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely and of a good report.
