Wisdom is a defense and money is a defense; and we’re going to have to have wisdom to operate in money. You are going to have to pray and ask God for wisdom for various transactions that you are dealing with. Especially, if you are trying to break free from a cycle or spirit of debt. I’m not saying you are in sin because you have debt. But, I am saying that you are out of order if you are allowing debt to control you.
You must handle debt. My house originally had a 30-year mortgage, but it was paid for in four or five years. That is what I’m talking about when I say, you must handle and use debt to your advantage. No, you don’t have to wait until you get all of the cash, but you MUST wait until you get a signal from God.
God is not moved by your debt. But, when you start planting seed to break the spirit of debt, it moves the hand of God and supernaturally God will deliver you from debt.
Let me give you a little tip: keep some cash in your pocket or in your purse. A lot of stuff we use cards for, we don’t need. With cash you may spend $900 but with that card, you may spend $9000, buying stuff you don’t have the money for. There will come a day when you will be able to buy everything you want. But, until that day, you need to use wisdom with what you have now and sow as the the Lord leads you to.
