Jeremiah 33:9 – And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.

Get ready to live in astonishing prosperity! Jesus’ first message was to the poor in Luke 4. He told them that they didn’t have to be poor anymore.

Astonishing means shocking, spectacular, eye opening, and blindsiding. But, you have to know how to open yourself up to receive astonishing prosperity. You have to let prosperity in – you can’t fight it.

A powerful lesson is taught in Luke 5 about how to open yourself up to receive astonishing prosperity. Simon and his fellow fishermen had toiled all night and caught nothing. It wasn’t until Jesus got involved that they caught more than enough fish; so much that the ship began to sink.

That is the way your prosperity is going to happen to you. You see, the fishermen in this story switched from labor to favor. Labor is a part of this earth-cursed system. Favor is where you are supposed to be, as a citizen of the kingdom of God.

I want to give you the steps to moving into astonishing prosperity.

Number one is: Committing your purpose to Jesus’ purpose will command astonishing prosperity.

You must commit all of your purposes to God’s purposes. You see, God’s plans are so big, He will have to prosper you to work with His plans. The problem has been that most of our purposes are not committed to Jesus’ purpose.  They are committed to our own purposes. We figure, working two jobs is the answer. But, that’s not the answer.

In Luke 5:3, Jesus told Simon to thrust out a little from the land. Basically, he was telling Simon – move out a little bit from your comfort zone. Trust Me and Me only.

Sometimes, you’re a little too close to your job…your bank…your social security check. You need to move out far enough to not be dependent upon anyone or anything else but Jesus. Get to the point where the only thing you have left to depend on is Jesus and that’s when He’ll do it for you. That’s when you’ll enter into astonishing prosperity!

Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established. – Proverbs 16:3
