And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come. – Mark 4:26-29

As you become an experienced and systematic sower, there are two characteristics that you will develop.

The first characteristic is that you will become so focused on sowing seed that you will not worry about how the harvest will come. You will be fully convinced that God’s system of seed-time and harvest is the only system that you can live on and thrive.

The second characteristic is that as your sowing causes you to increase more and more, you will be able to differentiate between what’s harvest and what’s seed. If you notice, Jesus told us that first the blade comes, then the ear, then the full corn. The blade and the ear are not the full corn. So, it will be very important for you to consult the Holy Ghost about what is harvest and what is seed.

Remember, sowing is a lifestyle, so you will never stop sowing. Therefore, it is best for you to always recognize seed when it comes!
