One thing I’ve seen over the years is how we’ve tried to teach faith without grace. It’s impossible. Faith and grace must work together, and until we understand this partnership, we will struggle to access the power of God in our lives. Ephesians 2:8 reminds us, “For by grace you have been saved through faith,” but many believers live as if they are still trying to earn what God has already given.
Grace is being put in place now like never before. It positions us to stand in our God-given authority, and faith is the key that unlocks this position. However, Satan has worked overtime to keep these two concepts separate. We’ve had faith seminars and great teachings, but grace—the divine favor of God that sustains and empowers us—must be integrated into every aspect of our walk.
To walk in the apostolic and prophetic, to flow in the gifts, and to operate in the Spirit as God has called us, we need both faith and grace. These two are inseparable. When they come together, they empower us to function in the supernatural. Let this truth settle in your heart: grace is the foundation, and faith is the tool that activates it.
Ephesians 2:8 KJV
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Romans 12:3 KJV
3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
