The secret to the apostolic and prophetic believers winning every battle lies in understanding the foundation God has established for us. Ephesians 2:18 declares, “For through Him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.” This access is not a small thing—it is the divine connection that enables us to walk in victory. Through the revelation of the apostolic and prophetic, joined with the teacher, pastor, and evangelist, we are positioned to win every battle, no matter how fierce.
Ephesians 2:20 goes further, reminding us that we are “built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone.” If this foundation in Ephesians 4:11 is not handled properly, then the entire structure of the church will be out of order. The apostle establishes spiritual government, while the prophet speaks divine revelation and insight to guide us in the Spirit. Together, these offices ensure that the church functions in alignment with God’s plan.
Verse 22 of Ephesians 2 sums it up beautifully: “In whom you also are built together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.” This divine habitation is what empowers us to live in victory. But this victory comes through revelation. As Isaiah 55:8–11 says, God’s thoughts and ways are higher than ours. When we align with His Word, we step into His supernatural flow, defeating every satanic attack.
This lifestyle is not just about survival; it’s about thriving. Living in an apostolic and prophetic flow means living with a renewed mind, a restored soul, and a consistent awareness of God’s presence. The secret to victory lies in yielding to the Holy Spirit daily, ensuring that we operate from our divine foundation and not from the limitations of the flesh.
Ephesians 2:18-22 KJV
18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
Isaiah 55:8–11 KJV
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
