Faith Properly Positioned

Faith must be positioned properly every day to function effectively. Romans 12:3 reveals that God has given each of us a measure of faith, but this faith cannot operate in isolation. It requires grace to guide it. Without a clear understanding of grace, faith becomes ineffective. Grace is the foundation, and faith is the tool that unlocks the promises God has already provided.

Grace changes everything. It is the force that carried the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is the power that brought the church into existence and sent the Holy Spirit to empower us. Romans 12:3 reminds us not to think more highly of ourselves than we ought but to think soberly, recognizing that grace is what keeps us grounded and aligned with God’s purposes.

Without grace, our faith can be neutralized by wrong thinking. The mind, when left unrenewed, becomes a battleground where the enemy can plant thoughts that undermine faith. This is why Romans 12:2 commands us to renew our minds daily. By aligning our thoughts with God’s Word, we ensure that our faith operates from a place of divine understanding and not human reasoning.

Positioning faith properly means understanding its connection to grace and maintaining a renewed mind. This daily discipline ensures that we walk in the supernatural flow of the Spirit, where grace and faith work together to bring God’s will to pass in our lives. When we position our faith under grace, we tap into the unlimited resources of heaven. Go forward today knowing that no obstacle can stand against a faith properly positioned under the grace of God.

Romans 12:2-3 KJV

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
