Job 22:28 says, “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.”
I want to tell you something today that you may not know yet. I hope you catch it, because if you catch it, it will change how you approach every single situation for the rest of your life. Decree means decide. Decree and decide are synonymous. When your prophetic activation is on, it is already decided. Not a decision somebody else is going to make. Not a decision you are still deliberating over. It is already made.
When you are decreeing, you are deciding. When you are decreeing, the decision is already made — no matter what stands to your left, what stands to your right, what stands behind you, what stands over your head. It is already decided.
Whatever is trying to block it, whatever is trying to stop it, it has to come down. It has to yield to you. Because a decree has gone out from someone who has been given divine authority. You are anointed with decision. You are anointed with blessing. You are a believer, a decreer, and a receiver.
Say this : I am a believer. I am a decreer. And I am a receiver.
Psalm 2:7 says, “I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.”
Notice something powerful in that verse. It is more powerful when the Lord has been spoken to you personally. It is alright coming from somebody else, but when the Lord speaks to you personally — I will declare the decree that the Lord has said unto me — everything changes.
It is personal. It is directed at you. It is God coming to you individually and saying: I have something to say over your life. Now say it back. Declare it. Decree it. Let it come out of your mouth.
Where do you think “I will never be broke another day in my life” came from? Nobody was saying that around me. It prophetically rolled up in me and I was bold enough to say it. God has said something to you too. Don’t be scared to say it.
But Job 22:28 says when you decree it, it shall be established. While it is being established, the light is going to shine upon your ways. You will have clarity. You will have direction. You will have divine confirmation. Stop waiting for permission to open your mouth. The decree is inside you. It is time to release it.
