Romans 10:17~ So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
This explains that faith is built within the Word. When you hear the Word of God, faith takes a hold of you if you yield to it. And it’s only a simple step that sometimes we miss- Believing the Word and Confessing the word (or acting on the word) and Receiving. These 3 steps are important.
John 6:63~It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
The Word contains Spirit and Life
Romans 8:2~For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
