Matthew 4:1-4  “Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”

In this verse we see that the Spirit leads him in the presence of Satan to be tempted of him. You remember in the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve failed because of Satan’s temptation. In this chapter we see Jesus showing us how to handle all types of temptation.  Satan will always try to question your salvation, “If thou be the son of God or If God really loves you”. You may be going through something now in your life or aiming to accomplish something to go to the next level just look at verse 4.

Verse 4: “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”

Notice that “every word”. The Word of God from Genesis to Revelation is our sword that we use to put the enemy in his place. Feed on the proceeded word, means that word is constantly coming out of Gods mouth, we have to listen. Every situation you’re dealing with and every decision you’re making, you need to be aware of the fact that God has a word for every situation that proceeded out of the mouth of God.

So I want you to listen for God’s voice and read His Word and today you will know exactly what to do, what to say, where to go, and how to handle yourself. That proceeded word is a powerful word. I speak a proceeded word over you today that the Holy Spirit will give you the wisdom, victory, and the know how to handle every situation that comes up in your life. You have a blessed day and you walk by faith being led by the Spirit and at all times speaking the Word.
