Romans 8:14 – For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

God wants you to live a life that cannot possibly be lived without Him. Your life is limited to the extent that you permit the Holy Spirit to lead you. This is why divine direction from the Holy Spirit is so important.

Your life will become unlimited when you constantly look to and yield to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Because even at your best mental state, you are incapable of making reliable and durable decisions. You NEED the Holy Spirit’s direction. No human effort can match God’s direction.

  • Without divine direction, there will always be division. You need to hear a single voice speaking that can overrule every other voice. That single voice is the voice of the Holy Spirit.
  • Without divine direction, you will constantly make wrong decisions. You will always be in a guessing game, even with scriptures in your hand. Scriptures are not validated until the Holy Spirit breathes on them.
  • Without divine direction, your destiny will have no compass. Every person has a vision from God and that vision must have divine direction. The Holy Ghost will act as a divine compass to give your vision a clear path. He will lead you down the divine path that God has set for your life. Divine direction may not always sound sensible, but you have to learn to trust Him.

When you don’t yield to divine direction from the Holy Ghost, you are sinning against yourself because God is not able to do what He wants to do for you. Just put your faith in God’s direction. God’s wisdom will direct you where He wants you to go.

Have you ever made a wrong turn? Well, you can’t keep making wrong turns and get where you need to be. You need to start making some right turns. The Holy Spirit is here to give you direction and He will guide you so that your Father can bless you like He wants to bless you.

Say this prayer today: “Holy Spirit, have your way in my life right now. Tell me which way to turn and I will yield from this day forward. If you tell me to stop, I’ll stop. If you tell me to go, I’ll go. It may seem like I am going the right way, but if you tell me to turn, I’ll turn.”
