The prayer that Paul prayed for the church in the book of Ephesians is such a vital prayer for the church and every believer. It is the key for us to see God work and move supernaturally. When Paul asks that the Father would give us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, he reveals a master key to the supernatural.
Revelation is what causes the manifestation of the supernatural. It is God revealing things to us that are not normal. Things that could not and should not happen, until God shows us how and then makes it happen. Revelation is what changes the impossible to the possible and the incurable to the curable. It is the release of God’s glory, where He comes to do things for us that we can’t do ourselves.
We have been so stuck in religion, rituals, routines, rules, and regulations that we don’t even look for revelation. The Holy Spirit has been prohibited from taking us into the places we are supposed to go because of who we are in Christ. We have built a historical God and a futuristic God. We dwell on what He has done and what He will do, but we never step into what God is trying to do now, at this moment. Revelation is always present tense, it is a revealed Word of what God is trying to do now.
If you desire to stop living a normal lifestyle, you will have to learn how to walk in revelation. Revelation will change your life: physically, mentally, and spiritually. Begin to pray this prayer daily and allow God to reveal Himself to you in ways you have never seen before.
