John 4:23-24 – But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

God is eternal and there is always a new aspect of His nature for us to discover. Our passionate worship causes God to make Himself known.

When God’s people worship Him wholeheartedly, He reveals Himself to them. In worship, The Lord wants to reveal Himself as: The Almighty, The Healer, The Deliverer, The Provider, The One who baptizes with supernatural power, and The One who is All-in-All.

Many Christians go to church just to hear the Word preached and never join in during praise and worship. This shows a lack of reverence for God. A number of believers seem to have lost the revelation that Jesus is our King and high priest and that we are called to prepare an atmosphere in which He can manifest His presence.

Worship is not a prelude, it is a presentation. Worship is an invitation for God to manifest and demonstrate Himself in our midst. When He manifests His presence, He speaks to His people and performs supernatural miracles, healings, and deliverances. As you worship, He will give you a revelation of His mind and His heart.

If you want God to reveal Himself to you, your worship cannot be mechanical or repetitive; it must be heart-felt and intimate.

Everyday, you must make a discovery of who God is, through your worship. You must not become spiritually complacent or cease progressing in your capacity to worship Him because you will miss out on His revelation.
