Called to Obtain Glory

2 Thess 2:14 – Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Recognize that you are called to obtain God’s glory. You were called by the gospel to obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Don’t look at your weaknesses, failures, and limitations and not think that you are worthy of God’s glory functioning in your life. God is not looking at those things. His glory comes to empower you beyond your weaknesses, failures, and limitations.

Weaknesses, failure, and limitations are the very thing that turns you into Christ’s image. Paul said, I glory in my infirmities that the power of Christ may rest upon me…when I am weak, then am I strong (2 Cor. 12:9-10). When you have confidence in your flesh or your ego, that’s the very place weaknesses, failures, and limitations will enter in. The glory will remove all weaknesses, failures, and limitations from your life. Sicknesses, financial concerns, emotional distress – everything negative must leave when the glory shows up.

You are a glory container. God, Himself, resides in you and He will not reside in a place that is incomplete and not make it whole. Don’t you know that He is able? But, it takes your cooperation and you recognizing that you have a right to God’s glory.

Some of you reading this may think that you are a failure or that you cannot go to another level. You may even have accepted some things that you should not have accepted. Well, today as you come to understand His glory, God is lifting limitations off of you.

Yes, you will experience weaknesses, failures, and limitations that may try to take you over. But, now you know that they do not have any control over you. As long as you are a child of God, you are a candidate of obtaining the glory in the image of the Lord Jesus Christ. You can walk in glory and as you walk in glory, you will constantly unlock the supernatural.
