11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. 12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. – Isaiah 28:11-12

When you pray in tongues, it’s God speaking to you. That is what this scripture means when it says, “stammering lips and another tongues.” So, praying in tongues gives you Spiritual refreshing and rest.

I stay pretty restful because I pray in tongues all the time. It’s not that everything is going right all the time either. But, I know that everything is going to work out the way it is supposed to. I know that what I’m working with cannot fail.

We live in a world full of unrest and if we are not cautious, we can allow our surroundings to cause us to become un-restful and full of worry.

If you find yourself in some type of warfare, your first reaction may be to worry, but as soon as you come back to yourself, remember to pray in the Spirit. You will find yourself having peace while the war is still going on.

You see, the scenario doesn’t have to change, through prayer, know that you will change. You will be changed into recognizing your rightful position as a child of the living God who cannot fail.

Thank God we can always get refreshed and rested as we release our prayer language!
