Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the Lord will do great things. 22 Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength. 23 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. 24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil. – Joel 2:21-24
Always remember, before you go to the promised land, you have to pass through the wilderness. The wilderness are all those tests, trials, and storms you go through. The ones that only God and your trust in God can bring you out of. The more difficult the storm, the more powerful the testimony is and the more strong your faith in God becomes as He delivers you. All of these “wilderness” experiences are to cause you to rely on God totally.
Also, there are beasts that will try to keep you from going where you need to go. But, what you need to be mindful of is not letting that beast be you. That is why God must bring you through the process; because if your flesh is not trained and God has not trained you for abundance – when you finally do reach that place of abundance your untrained flesh will become like a beast.
If you are experiencing financial turmoil right now, be glad and rejoice. For it is just a sure sign that God is about to bring you out and into the promised land!
