God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged. – Romans 3:4
I’m going to share with you some scriptures on the subject of faith that every believer should meditate on until they become rooted deeply in his heart and mind. Faith is a characteristic of the prosperous because the person of faith will not waver when trouble looms or when circumstances look bleak. He will trust in the unseen based on what God has said, and he’ll say with confidence, “Let God be true, but every man a liar..” In other words, whatever contradicts the Word of the living God, the person of faith will flatly reject it as a lie.
We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; 18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. – 2 Corinthians 4:13, 18
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. – Hebrews 11:1. 6
