In coming to a better understanding of knowing how to operate in both faith and grace, there are four words I want you to remember: Revelation, Renewing, Receiving, and Releasing.
The revelation, alone, of knowing that faith and grace must work together is not enough. You must continually renew your mind with what the Word says. This requires mediation on your part. Find what the Word says about grace and faith. As you read the new testament, notice that when you see grace, faith is not far behind. As you read the old testament, know that those promises are complete now because Jesus Christ finished them on the Cross.
As you continue to renew your mind with the revelation of God’s Word, your soul will begin to prosper. (3 John 1:2 – Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.) When things in the natural look contrary to what you know grace has already done, your soul will be in line with what your spirit knows to be true. Then, instead of backing down or succumbing to defeat, you will be able to stick it out until you receive what God is releasing to you because it is already yours.
