For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. – Luke 12:34
Your money and how you give it to the Lord and His work is your measuring stick, so to speak, of how much you love God. Some people don’t want to touch the subject of money in connection with how much they love God. They want to stay in a “spiritual” frame of mind when they talk about loving God.
But the measuring stick of your love for God is that which you have sweated and worked for — whether you can give it freely and cheerfully. If you measure high on the stick, that means you give your money to God freely and cheerfully because you know He caused you to have that job or source of income in the first place!
The Lord judges by your wallet and your pocketbook to know whether or not you really love Him!
This Moment Apostle, I Embrace The Freshness Of Luke 12:34, “The Measuring Stick.” I Comprehend The Measuring Stick Being Of How I Give To the Lord And His Work. I Have No Problem Giving To God In Love. Therefore, I Give Freely And Cheerfully, Knowing That God Has Blessed Me With Sources To Give Back To Him.
Amen Apostle Thompson! I receive that the measuring stick of my love for God is that which I have sweated and worked for — whether I can give it freely and cheerfully. I receive that to measure high on the stick, that means I give my money to God freely and cheerfully because I know He caused me to have that job or source of income in the first place! I receive it in Jesus’ name! Many blessings sir. Amen!
