But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. – Hebrews 1:8

I want to expose you to the scepter of righteousness, which is the scepter of prosperity. The dictionary definition of a scepter is an ornamented staff carried by rulers on ceremonial occasions as a symbol of sovereignty.

In the kingdom of God, you are royalty and you must remember to operate from your kingdom citizen rights at all times.  1 Peter 2:9 says,  But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

Now, a real king or queen always has some type of prosperity. Real kings and queens live in royalty. So, you’re supposed to live in prosperity. When the Lord originally revealed this to me, He said, You’re supposed to live in my prosperity. My prosperity has become your prosperity.

So, this scepter or righteousness is a weapon that gives you kingly authority over prosperity.

Prosperity is supposed to obey you. Money is supposed to obey you. Therefore, it is not supposed to be controlling any part of your life – telling you what you can’t have or can’t do. You have authority over money.

You can’t exercise dominion over something that you don’t know that you have dominion over. But, now you know that you possess the scepter of righteousness, which gives you the authority to exercise dominion in this earth realm, especially over prosperity.
