And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. 6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. – Acts 9:5-6
Each of us in life must come to the place where we say to God, “Lord, I want Scripture fulfilled in my life. I’m tired of looking at Your promises and thinking, How nice. I’ve had enough of these circumstances. Your Word is true. The problem is not with You. Lord, What would you have me do?”
Many Christians don’t know how to be honest with God. They just pretend everything’s alright and they call that faith. But, that’s not faith; that’s denial. And it’s not alright there is no forward progress. That’s stagnation and they have just resigned themselves to live the same way they’ve always lived. Receiving a blessing here or there but not receiving any real or lasting demonstrations of God’s power is not good enough.
God is always perfect; He never misses. So if you’re not receiving as you ought to receive, something is missing with you.
When you ask the Lord, “What will you have me do?” I don’t know what He’s going to say to you. But I do know that He’ll answer you. He may tell you to stop being so proud. He may tell you to “set your face like flint” because He’s getting ready to do something – but there’s a rough patch ahead, and He wants you to be ready for it. He may tell you to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness instead of trying to make divine prosperity happen using human or natural means. I don’t know what the Lord will tell you to position you for a demonstration. But I do know that He wants you in position!
Thank You Apostle For Bringing The Freshness of Acts 9:5-6, Home To Me The Receiver. I Know What Jesus Would Say To Me. He Would Say To Me Continue To Stand. Be Open For Fresh Revelant Revelation Of The Scriptures That Highlight His Promises Unto Me. Jesus Would Say Unto Me “Set Your Face Like Flint, And Position Myself for Demonstration.” I Comprehend that He Is Telling Me Today What To Do. I Receive and Obey.
Amen Apostle Thompson! I receive that I must ask of the Lord “What would you have me do?” I receive that God is always perfect; He never misses. So if I am not receiving as I ought to receive, something is missing with me. I receive that that that He wants me in position! I receive it in Jesus’ name! Many blessings sir! Amen!
