My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. (Hosea 4:6)
The word knowledge here does not just imply information, but also a “know-how.” Not knowing and not knowing how is the ultimate destruction of God’s people.
Praying in the Spirit brings you into the “know.”
The dual purpose of tongues is enlightenment and empowerment. You are enlightened to see where you are going and empowered to stand your ground when the enemy tries to take you off base.
If you are dealing with something now, pray in the Spirit about it. Get a pen and pad and tarry before the Lord until you get the answer. I’m not telling you this because I think this is true. I’m telling you this because I know it to be true.
Don’t reject knowledge by not walking in the powerful privilege of praying in tongues. Pray daily and often!
