Your trinity is that you are the way, you are the truth, and you are the life, because you’re the same thing He is.
“Christ in me, the way. Christ in me, the truth. Christ in me, the life.” The Lord works through trinities.
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man cometh to the Father but by me.” When we read this verse, we see those three things, but we don’t see that major one — “to the Father.” If you’re not the truth, you can’t get to Him. If you’re not in the life (as in conscious of the life or have access to that life in your soul, thinking, emotions, conscious, will, and desires), you’re only functioning religiously.
When you function in religion, you might as well say you’re a rebel, because He can’t lead you into green pastures. You’re not going to follow Him because you’re looking at something else. You think there’s a better way than the way He’s showing you — the reason is because you’re unconscious. When you’re unconscious in your soul that means you’ve become unconscious in your spirit.
The writer Paul said in Romans 9:1: “I lie not. I tell the truth. My conscience bears witness with the Holy Ghost.” Now, go back to John 14:6: Jesus said, “I’m the way, truth, and the life. No man cometh to the Father but by me.” If you’re not praying from your image of knowing that your “I Am-ness” includes “I am the door,” then you can’t enter in!
Satan is robbing the Church in the areas of consciousness and unconsciousness, because they don’t know the difference between their soul and their spirit. (Paul ministered to us about the inner man (which is our spirit), but for years, we didn’t know what the inner man was.) This is where a born-again man is robbed. He has to recognize that he has these other two entities to deal with — the soul and the body, and he’s in charge! Satan doesn’t want man to know that he’s in charge.
God’s Word talks about renewing your mind because a Christian, through an unconscious soul, grieves the Holy Spirit. It lets other things grab onto it, and that quenches the Holy Spirit. I believe to a certain degree, if you stay dumb (or unconscious) long enough, you’ll completely resist the Holy Spirit. Therefore, the Father can’t lead you, can’t show you, and can’t raise you. You won’t see the door. You won’t see the gate. You’ll be dealing with it on your own ability. You’ll be praying, but you’ll be unconscious in your soul. And when you’re unconscious in your soul, you’re automatically unconscious in your senses.
You’re going to have to be conscious in your spirit, your soul and your senses. You do that by feeding on the Word of God — not going through a whole day thinking about everything else after only giving God 15-20 minutes in the morning, and never pausing to give Him the opportunity to show you something.
It’s like a jackass wanting to call a racehorse a fanatic.
