The truth is that you’re not going to sow automatically.

God can develop a sowing heart in you and give you strong hands to sow, but you will need a grace to do it. You have to allow the Holy Spirit to grace you to sow.

It is possible that you haven’t fully stepped into that aspect of grace yet, and that’s what has been holding back your finances. Maybe not being graced to give is why God hasn’t trusted you with much. You must have a sowing grace on your life to walk in financial freedom.

Read how Paul gives the church of Corinth an example of the Macedonian churches’ sowing grace.
[1] Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia; (Notice the condition of the church in the next verse.) [2] How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality.
2 Corinthians 8:1-2

At the end of the second verse above, we can see the Macedonian churches became liberal when they were broke. In verse 3, Paul goes on to say:
For to their power, I bear record, yea, and beyond their power they were willing of themselves;
2 Corinthians 8:3

Beyond their power means beyond their ability. This is an example for you, too. Ask God to grace you to sow beyond your ability. Your ability brings your results, but God’s ability brings godly results. If you never step out beyond your own ability, you’ll never see God’s results in your life.

You have to align your soul (“your thinking, believing, imagining, feeling, consciousness”) with God’s ability, and that has to be done with a sowing grace.
