Matthew 6:32-33 – (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Are you operating in verse 32 or verse 33? All that God asks is that you seek His kingdom first and then He will take care of whatever else it is that you need.

You are not a Gentile, you are a believer. You are not supposed to be seeking stuff. It’s not necessary to seek healing, or a new car, or a house or a mate. God has instructed you to seek one thing and one thing only: His kingdom.

God’s kingdom is God’s government, authority, dominion, will, plan, and purpose. All of those things are within you (see Luke 17:21).

Really, all you need to seek is what God is saying on the inside of you. You have to turn the outside noise all the way down and listen to the kingdom of God on the inside of you.

It’s time to change your mode of operation. Your prayers should no longer be about stuff – God already knows you have need of those things. Seek His will, His plan, and do what He tells you to do from within. God has already promised to take care of the rest!
