If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. – John 15:7
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. – Matthew 6:33
Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. – Psalm 37:4
In the three scriptures above, there is a beginning action and an ending result. Often, we get in such a rush to see the ending result fulfilled that we give a little effort to the beginning instructions and focus primarily on the end result.
Take for instance, Matthew 6:33, we read that verse and get excited about the last part that says “all these things should be added to you.” We work our faith for things to be added to us and don’t give enough due diligence to the “seeking the kingdom first” part. Then, we get discouraged when things aren’t added to us.
When instructions are given, the only part you need to concern yourself with are those instructions. Then, the results will be guaranteed. Why? Because God has already done His part. God has already added everything you need to you.
Immaturity will keep you on the wrong end of the scripture, causing you not to ever reach the end of the scripture that brings the manifestation. Stop meditating on the wrong end of the scripture!
Abiding in Jesus Christ and letting Him abide in you; seeking the kingdom and His righteousness first; and delighting yourself in the Lord are the only parts of those scriptures that you need to be focused on. That’s your part.
So, do your part and leave the rest up to God.
