God does things by measure. He tells us in Romans 12:3 that we have all been dealt the “measure of faith.” We are also told what the measure is John 10:10 when Jesus told us that he came that we might have life and have it more abundantly.
Abundance is the measure God desires for us to have. But, the actual measure that we do have is determined by us. Our cooperation determines our portion.
Look at the end of Luke 6:38, for with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
Your measure is determined by your stewardship. How have you been managing your measure? How much are you using your faith? Is your faith still at the same level that it was when you first got saved?
If you are not satisfied with your measure and your faith is not producing what it should produce, it’s because you have not set it right. Are you really being a good steward of your measure of faith? Or do you play it safe, only exercising your faith in situations you have control of?
God desires for you to increase your measure. But, if you are not doing anything to increase your measure, God will not be able to do anything to increase your measure. The Bible tells us that the just shall live by faith. That means, we are to live by something we can’t do on our own.
I hear the Spirit of God saying, “Let me be God in your life. Turn me loose by your faith. Trust me enough to get in a situation that you can’t handle.”
God permits us to face situations that we can’t handle just so that we can increase our measure of faith. When God helps you in those situations, you will learn to trust Him. And the next time they arise, you will trust Him even more. That is how your measure of faith is reset and increased to the level of abundance! It is time to reset your measure!
Apostle, I Accept That God Works Measures. My Measure Of Faith Has Increased Since I Have Been Saved. Father’s Desire Is That I Be A Good Steward Of Faith. I Will Permit My Measure of Faith To Be Inceased, Reset By Trusting God Fully In Situations I Cannot Not Handle. I Accept That God Wants Me To Have An Abundance of Faith.
