40 How oft did they provoke him in the wilderness, and grieve him in the desert! 41 Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel. 42 They remembered not his hand, nor the day when he delivered them from the enemy. – Psalm 78:40-42

They provoked, grieved, turned back, and tempted God – these four things will cause God to be limited in your life. You see, God is your provider and He has provided everything you have need of.

Psalm 68:19 says, Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

So, where does the problem lie if God is releasing the benefits daily? If you are not receiving, the problem is on your end.

You must become a trained receiver. All of us have experienced God’s hand move in situations that didn’t seem like anything good could come of them. Always remind yourself about those situations. Rehearse what God did and bring that into your present, knowing that He will do the same for you in your current situation.

You limit God when you act like you forgot all that He has done for you. God is not a God who changes His mind about how He feels about you. You are His child and He is always in a willing state to provide for you.
