Hebrews 4:12 – For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Your soul plays a major part in your walk with God. Some of the major problems people are having are connected to the fact that they don’t know how to control their soul. It took me many years to come to this revelation of how the soul, spirit, and body work together, and today, I know that you can stop a lot of things that come against you when you know this.
If your soul is out of control, you need to know how to control and train it with the Word of God. Many ask the question, “What part does my soul play in my life?” Here are the five parts of your soul:
- Emotions (Feelings)
- Reasoning (Intellect, Thoughts, Mindset)
- Memory
- Imagination
- Will
For years, we have trained our spirits at the expense of our souls because we didn’t understand the soul. When you look at the scripture, you will see that people who get in trouble have made soul mistakes because they didn’t know how to control it. They try to mix it up with spiritual things but unless the Word of God speaks to your soul (in all 5 parts)—and unless your faith is developed on how to work with your soul—you will always have problems.
The only way to train all parts of your soul is to serve God and agree with His purposes, submitting all 5 parts to His Word.Your future will be much brighter and many of your problems will be solved as you meditate the abilities of your soul and also learn to function properly with a restful soul.
Today, pay attention to your feelings, reasoning, things coming up in your memory, and where your mind goes through imagination. Do you see a good day, month, or year ahead? Train your imagination to see what the Word says—get your emotions, mindset, and will to agree with that— and then always submit wholeheartedly to the Will of God. When you do this, you will see great things happen.
The Bible says, be not wise in your own eyes but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
Apostle's Daily Meditations 
Amen Apostle, I Bow To This Word As It Is Necessary For My Soul To Be Trained And Aligned With The Word And Promises Of God. I Will Pay Attention To All Five Parts Of My Soul.
Amen. So many deny the word of God for peosperity in their lives for every area. Person close to me has that ram spirit that bucks everything positive towards rewards of God amd person is religious and tries to turn it back to me in degrading ways. Essentially person tries to get me to shut up with words God gave me to give them. People w/controlling spirits most reluctant to not receive anything they can’t control. I plead the blood of Jesus over soul of man to bring recognition of the Spirit that trains soul/body through word of God and Holy Spirit(Teacher). I have to renew/restore my mind/soul throughout the day from dealing with rams(bucking spirits)
Thank you God for this momemt of releasingfrustration and renewal. I reflect that you bring the increase. Seed time & harvest/ seed watering. The harvest belongs to God. Amen
