There’s a phrase worth carrying with you from this moment forward: blood favor. Not the ordinary kind the world hands out based on who you know or what you can offer — blood favor. It means everything is already complete. I’m blessed in the city, I’m blessed in the field, I’m a wearer of blood favor, whether today’s circumstances have caught up to that truth yet or not.
Here’s what most people miss: you’re under a blood contract all the time, whether you’re actively thinking about it or not. That contract doesn’t expire when you walk out of church on Sunday. It goes home with you. It gets in the car with you. It gets in the bed with you at night.
Luke 10:19 gives the legal language behind it: “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” That’s not a promise for someday down the road. That’s a standing contract, already in force, with your name already on it.
So stop approaching your blessings like a request that might get denied. Blessings are ready to flow at your blood-right command — not your begging, your command — because blessing already belongs to you the same way Satan’s defeat already belongs to the cross. Nobody begs for something they already own.
The next time you catch yourself wondering whether favor is finally on its way, remember: it’s not coming. It’s already attached to you. All that’s left is deciding to walk like the contract is real.
