Luke 24:12-19 – But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake.13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony. 14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: 15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. 16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. 17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake. 18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish. 19 In your patience possess ye your souls.

Every test, if you handle it right, will turn into a testimony. Tests are just another chance for God to show Himself strong in your life. So, there is never a time for you to be a “cry-baby,” asking God “Why me?” when times get tough! Where do you think testimonies come from?

Testimonies come from people who were attacked and God brought them out. Remember: Daniel in the lion’s den, David and Goliath, the three Hebrew boys, the children of Israel crossing the red sea, the wall of Jericho, etc. Those people had a testimony! But first, there was the test.

Don’t despise the test! That’s why we have been going over the importance of having a sound mind. When your mind is sound and set on the things of the Spirit, even in the midst of the test, you will be able to “possess your soul” and say, “I won’t fear, God is with me!” (Isa. 41:10)

Say: “Thank you Lord that this test will turn for me, into a testimony!”
