Acts 9:31 – Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.

Acts 2:42 –  And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

These two verses explain why the early church was able to function in the supernatural at all times; because they were steadfast. They continued in the things God had ordered for them. One translation says that they kept on increasing.

If the supernatural is going to continue in our lives, we must follow this same pattern. We must continuously: walk in the fear of the Lord, in the Apostles doctrine, in breaking of bread, prayers, fellowship, and the comfort of the Holy Ghost.

We must have progressive revelation about all of these things. Progressive respect. Progressive honor. Progressive surrender to His will, His plan, and His purposes in our lives. These are not things that should ever stop. You are to always continue in the things of God.
