Proverbs 3:5 – Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
When you lean to your own understanding that is when life becomes like a jigsaw puzzle. You will constantly be worried about trying to put the pieces together yourself. God never meant for you to live that way. He has given has given you the ability to have Spiritual understanding which consists of three things: discernment, comprehension, and interpretation.
In the natural, satan can talk you out of the things that you are believing for. But, when you are operating in the supernatural, he cannot. This is why you should lean on Spiritual understanding and not your own, natural understanding.
Proverbs 3:5, in the Message Bible says,
Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track.
Every day, every hour, and every minute, God is talking to you. You just have to listen and know how to listen.
Listen for God’s voice in everything you do and everywhere you go. Lean not on your own understanding. God is going to give you discernment, comprehension, and interpretation for any situation that may arise in your life. He will show you how to deal with them and they will all be win-win situations every time because God cannot fail!
May You Have a Blessed and Prosperous 2015!
