For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, – Titus 2:11
I want you to get some wisdom and understanding of how God has provided and designed for His children to walk in the full blessing and benefits of their salvation. Titus tells us that the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. But, are all men saved? No. So, is it possible for something we need to be there and still not have it? Yes.
Remember: Everything God has done for you is wrapped up in grace. God has already done everything He’s going to do for you. How? Through Jesus Christ’s finished work on the Cross. (See By Grace, Through Faith)
You were saved by grace, through faith. (See Eph. 2:8) So, the same way you got saved is the same way you get rich.
Are you sure of your salvation? Well, you should be sure that you’re rich because the same grace that saved you is the same grace that has already made you rich.
If grace says that everything is already done, you not having what you’re supposed to have can’t be God’s fault. The problem has to be somewhere on your end. The grace has always been there.
It’s because you have not known how to combine the two – grace and faith. Or maybe you have been working one without the other. Grace is dead, by itself and Faith is dead, by itself. But, when you bring the two together, they become a divine reaction in heaven that causes things to happen that couldn’t happen any other way.
For far too long, the Body of Christ has let these two truths operate separately. I, personally, was in the Word of faith camp for a long time where they taught, you must “do” something to get God to move on your behalf. On the other hand, the grace camp teaches that you don’t have to “do” anything.
The error came in because satan knows how powerful these two are when they are working together, so he tried to get us to use one without the other. Even in your study time, if you read, you will see in the new testament, where anytime faith is mentioned, grace is not too far behind, and vice versa.
